General auditions at the Playhouse Theatre Company are held in September of each year.

Glynis Leyshon, Playhouse Artistic Director will be in attendance. Priority will be given to those not previously seen by Ms. Leyshon and to Equity Members.

Those who are invited to audition will be contacted with an audition time. Equity members will be asked to prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues, less than two minutes in length each. One of these monologues should be Canadian. Non-equity actors will be asked to prepare one contemporary monologue of their choosing, less than two minutes in length.
