Rentals

Important notice: Due to serious flood damage, unfortunately, we are unable to rent out our Props and Costume stock until further notice. Thank you for understanding while we work our way through the restoration process.

Last year, over 150 companies and individual artists rented props, costumes, rehearsal space and shop space at the Playhouse Production Centre.

The Playhouse has a rich history of producing high-class theatre in Vancouver and as such has an abundance of props and costumes to rent to local arts organizations in the city. Our Production Centre also has two rehearsal halls that are available for hire along with the spacious prop, paint and carpentry shops.

• Costume Rentals - a wide variety of periods and styles are available.
• Prop Rentals - everything from furniture, hand props and chandeliers are available from our award-winning productions.
• Rehearsal Halls - There are two rehearsal halls available for hire (20' x 40' and 45' x 48'). Floors are constructed to Equity standards. Located at our Production Centre, they are available all year round, subject to availability.
• Prop, paint and carpentry shops - our extensive shops are also available for hire.

Professional theatre, dance and opera companies are welcome to use these spaces, as well as community centres, schools and amateur theatre groups.
