Membership

Members contribute a minimum annual gift of $60 to the Playhouse Theatre Company to help sustain our Tradition of Excellence both on stage and in the community. This fundraising programme offers Members an opportunity to make a difference in their community while gaining an enhanced appreciation for the theatrical arts. A range of Membership advantages complement this dynamic programme!

SUPPORTING PLAYER
($60 - $129)

Your donation helps us benefit the community by providing ten discounted seats for schoolchildren. You'll also enjoy such advantages as:

• A tax receipt
• One year subscription to our From the Wings newsletter to give you behind the scenes information about the Playhouse's productions
• Special invitations to selected members-only events such as play readings and seminars
• Semi-annual updates on progress achieved through member support
• Recognition of your membership in one house programme
• (please let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous)
• Invitation for you and your family to come behind the scenes at the Playhouse Production Centre by attending a Through the Looking Glass tour
• Receive a play guide by email for each production

FEATURE PERFORMER
($130 - $299)

Your donation helps us benefit the community by subsidizing ticket costs so a family of four can attend a Pay-What-You-Can matinee. You'll also enjoy all the advantages of the Supporting Player level, plus:

• Invitation to attend a free Playhouse dress rehearsal and selected members-only seminars and events

PRINCIPAL CHARACTER
($300 - $499)

Your donation helps us benefit the community by contributing to the cost of the "Artists and the Classroom" programme, and by providing four dramatically subsidized costume rentals to a school or smaller theatre company for one week. You'll also enjoy all the advantages of the Feature Performer level, plus:

• Invitation to attend one additional Playhouse dress rehearsal
• Recognition of your Membership in the house programme for all productions this season
• (please let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous)
• Special invitations to selected members-only events such as onstage receptions and play readings

STARRING ROLE
($500 - $999)

Your donation helps us benefit the community by contributing to the cost of an in-depth production Study Guide, and by enabling a school or smaller theatre company to rent a highly subsidized professional rehearsal hall for ten days. You'll also enjoy all the advantages of the Principal Character level, plus:

• Invitation to attend one Opening Night Producer's Circle reception for one of our Mainstage productions (performance tickets not included)
• Priority purchasing for select 2008 Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival events
• Season posters - one for each mainstage production of this season (upon request)
